3.1 Illegal Activities
You may not use the Service to:

- Circumvent animal welfare regulations
- Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
3.2 Harmful Content

- Is sexually explicit or pornographic
- Promotes violence or self-harm
- Contains graphic images of animal suffering without educational purpose
3.3 Misrepresentation
You may not:
- Falsely claim to be a licensed shelter or rescue organization
- Misrepresent pet health, breed, age, or temperament
- Use another person's identity or credentials
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
3.4 Commercial Exploitation
You may not:
- Use the Service for commercial breeding operations
- Sell pets for profit while misrepresenting as a rescue
- Use the platform for puppy mill operations
- Engage in bulk pet sales
3.5 Protected Species
You may not list:
- Endangered or threatened species
- Wildlife protected by law
- Exotic animals requiring special permits (without proper documentation)
- Animals prohibited by local ordinances
3.6 System Abuse
You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Transmit malware or malicious code
- Scrape or harvest user data
3.7 Spam and Solicitation
You may not:
- Send unsolicited commercial messages to users
- Post repetitive or irrelevant content
- Use the Service to build mailing lists
- Engage in pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing
4. Pet Listing Requirements
4.1 Required Information
All pet listings must include:
- Accurate photos of the actual pet
- Current age and breed information
- Health status and vaccination records
- Behavioral assessment when available
- Clear adoption requirements and fees
4.2 Prohibited Listings
The following listings are not permitted:
- Pets not currently in your care or custody
- Pets listed before they are available for adoption
- Multiple identical listings for the same pet
- Listings with stock photos instead of actual pet photos
4.3 Updates and Accuracy
You must:
- Update listings when pets are adopted
- Correct any inaccurate information promptly
- Remove listings for pets no longer available
5. Communication Standards
5.1 Respectful Interaction
All communications between users must be:
- Respectful and courteous
- Free from harassment or intimidation
- Honest and transparent
- Related to legitimate adoption inquiries
5.2 Privacy Respect
You may not:
- Share other users' personal information without consent
- Contact users outside the platform for non-adoption purposes
- Harass users who decline adoption requests
6. Adoption Process Standards
6.1 Screening Requirements
Organizations listing pets should:
- Conduct appropriate adopter screening
- Verify adopter identity and residence
- Check references when appropriate
- Ensure adopters can provide proper care
6.2 Prohibited Practices
Adoption providers may not:
- Discriminate based on protected characteristics
- Charge excessive or hidden fees
- Require unreasonable adoption conditions
- Fail to disclose known health or behavioral issues
6.3 Post-Adoption Support
Providers should:
- Provide basic care instructions
- Share medical records with adopters
- Be available for post-adoption questions
- Accept returns if adoption fails (per organization policy)
7. Data and Privacy
You may not:
- Collect personal data from other users without consent
- Use user data for marketing without permission
- Share user information with third parties
- Attempt to de-anonymize aggregated data
8. Intellectual Property
You may not:
- Infringe others' copyrights, trademarks, or patents
- Copy substantial portions of the Service
- Use our trademarks without permission
- Reverse engineer the Service
9. Enforcement
9.1 Monitoring
We reserve the right to:
- Monitor user activity and content
- Review reported violations
- Investigate suspicious behavior
- Cooperate with law enforcement when required
9.2 Violations
If you violate this AUP, we may:

- Remove violating content
- Suspend your account temporarily
- Terminate your account permanently
